ANOTHER SCAM FROM OUR GOVERNMENT??? ________________________________ Subject: damned if this is TRUE Date: Saturday, October 25, 2008, 10:52 PM This is another method for KWSP to steal our money! Remember during Budget 2008 announcement last yr, our Finance Minister (cum PM) announced that in order to assist KWSP members to reduce the burden in housing load repayment, KWSP will allow monthly withdrawal from members' A/C II for the purpose? Sounds like a nice goodies! When you apply for the monthly withdrawal, you only need to provide KWSP yr housing loan & instalment details from yr bank and the bank a/c # you like KWSP to bank the monthly withdrawal into it. KWSP will approve yr application based on the available amt in yr A/C II and compute the withdrawal period by dividing the approved amt with the monthly instalment amt. Application process takes about a month and you will receive the monthly payout promptly into yr bank a/c! Well everything appear to be nice and good. It was indeed a noble plan until you take to close look at yr KWSP Statement! The withdrawal plan is actually a SCAM! This is how the KWSP SCAM works....... Assuming you have RM100,000 in yr A/C II and yr housing loan's monthly instalment is RM2000/mth. KWSP will approve yr application of withdrawal from yr A/C II of RM100,000 and pay you RM2000/mth for the next 50mths. Everything appears to be in order BUT....... What KWSP didn't highlight to you is that when the application was approved, the TOTAL AMT (RM100,000) is removed from yr A/C II! It appears to be transfered to an unknown a/c to effect the monthly payment from therein. The impact to the member are as follows :- 1. You just lost RM100,000 from yr A/C II. Assuming the KWSP Dividend is 5%, you will lose >RM4,000 in dividend during the 1st year. Based on the above example you will will lose >RM10,000 over the 50 mths period! 2. There is no statement to account for the amt approved vs amt paid, hence you would need to keep the monthly payment voucher to reconcile against the approved amt over the 50mths period to ensure there is no missing amt! Assuming there are 100,000 members who innocently fell prey to this SCAM, based on the above example, KWSP would have cheated the members of 100,000 X RM10,000 = RM1,000,000,000 (that's RM1 BILLION) over the period! Furthermore, if you discovered this SCAM early and intend to stop the plan, KWSP would not allow any cancellation of the plan until at least 1 year. That would mean, once the application is approved, based on the above example, you would have lost >RM4,000. 100,000 members would have lost 100,000 X RM4,000 = RM400,000,000 (RM400 MILLION) in One Year!!! If you're a victim of this KWSP SCAM, would suggest you call yr MP to raise hell in Parliament! For others who have not fallen into this SCAM, pls continue to watch out and alert yr family & friends about this. HOW COULD THE GOVERNMENT ALLOW ITS AGENCY TASKED WITH SAFEGUARIDNG ITS CITIZEN'S HARD EARNED MONEY TO CHEAT ITS MEMBERS IN THIS MANNER???

FROM Sunday October 26, 2008 Hypermarkets to take lead in reducing prices

IT IS going to be easier on the pockets for Malaysians from as early as next week.

After a barrage of hard-hitting news caused by spiralling fuel prices, price tags are coming down at hypermarkets.

This will be the first time that prices of consumer goods are being reduced, after the drastic increase in fuel prices in June.

Since then, pump prices have tumbled from RM2.70 to RM2.30 (RON 97 petrol).

Hypermarkets are making preparations to reduce prices of canned and fresh food, and clothing.

A major hypermarket chain proprietor estimates that his prices will drop from 15% to 30%.

And there will be more good news at the pumps - petrol prices are likely to come down by 15 sen.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Ra­­zak said consumers could look forward to better times.

Parliament: Cops scared of crooks, so base closed!

KUALA LUMPUR: A police beat base in the Chow Kit area of downtown Kuala Lumpur was closed down because it was in a location that was considered unsafe, said Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar.

In a written reply to Dr Lo’ Lo’ Mohamad Ghazali (PAS-Titiwangsa), Syed Hamid said the beat base was located in a dirty area where there was a possibility of being exposed to contagious diseases.

The presence of criminals also posed a threat to the safety of police officers, he said.

Dr Mohd Hatta said that if the police themselves felt unsafe in a beat base, then it would be even worse for the public.

“The minister has to resign if he is worried about the safety of police in that area. Maybe it would be better to put the beat base in army barracks,” he said.

Dr Mohd Hatta then managed to raise the issue again during his own debate on Budget 2009 saying that Syed Ali’s response was not rational.

“The police are there to make a place safe. If they themselves are scared and run away, then how can we hope for others to want to be there?

Probe initiated into Hindraf, cops monitoring members

KUALA TERENGGANU: Police have initiated investigations into Hindu Rights Action Force

(Hindraf) and are monitoring the movement of its members following Wednesday’s ban by the Government.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan said members could face arrest if they remained defiant and proceeded to organise gatherings.

“They have been banned and deemed illegal, therefore cannot do anything.

“Hindraf’s status is akin to a secret society,” he said here on Thursday.

Musa did not elaborate on the type of action that would be taken against Hindraf members, saying this would be up to the Attorney-General.

I just came back from Langkawi, and, I have something bad to relate as of now! My wifey and I visited Langwi Wild Life center, and we paid RM 12 each per entry; at the same time we spent RM3 to purchase some food to feed the animal in the center. When we happily walked through the passage to the Ostrich farm, we bum into an Indian couple with 3 kids, obviously they did not purchase anything to feed the Ostrich as they watch us feeding the Ostrich happily. Out of a sudden, the father pick up a camera, and direct their kids to feed the Ostrich. I was amazed because I didn't notice carry anything food with them; when I turn my head to look at it for reaffirmation, I saw the paretns had acually took off the stickers on their shirt (usualluy for identification when you join a tour group), and feed the stickers to the Ostrich. Of course who to blame, the Ostrich is too stupid to think that's food. TIU NIA SENG!!! The Parents are a good role model for their kids, don't you think! TIU NIA SENG!!

I just came back from the movie - Eagle Eye!!

It is really Fucking Good~!!!!

Tiu Nia Seng!! At last this time I pay for the right movie!! (last few days ago, I watched 'Painted Skin'! Tiu Kao Kao after walk out of hte cinema!!! Its really a tiu Movie!!!)

Anyway, what I dissatidfied a lot is the GSC Cinema in ONE UTAMA...really has a Tiu Customer service!!!

We went there 5 minutes before the movie start (9.30pm); but we were thirsty, so we Q up to buy DRINK...and The Q is tiu long man!!!! we Q for almost half an hours!!!!

Tiu Nia Seng betul!!!! We paid for the movie and we pay for the drink....then GSC expects us to Q for half an hours to buy a drink...!!!
